English Channel is the first edition in a new series of screen prints from artist-photographer Rebecca Cleal.

The Water Series, an ongoing and evolving exploration of a theme that pervades Rebecca’s photographic work, will plot a geographical exploration of this one vital element, underscoring as it progresses the importance of this theme in the artist’s work. 

Using screen print techniques developed over the past three years in the artist's studio, these editions have been produced using varnish and 8 layers of black ink. The finish is deep and rich and layered, and quite unlike any other photographic reproduction.

Printed on 315gsm Heritage White acid-free & archival paper, 50cm x 70cm, and in a limited edition of 25.
